Steps to reproduce:

I have set Mozilla Thunderbird as a startup application by putting it in the startup folder in windows 7 professional.  I have chaged the shortcut's properpties to (attempt to) make it start as minimized on startup.


Actual results:

The application does not start minimized if it was full screen when closed before shutting down.


Expected results:

Thunderbird should start minimized when I have it set up this way, regardless of how it was closed most recently.

Does firefox behave the same?

Yeah, just checked, Firefox has the same problem.

Maybe related, but this isn't a duplicate of bug 208923, it's a bug in its own right, and not yet fixed. I've filed bug 1679702 for a clean start with better STR.
