From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.73 [en] (WinNT; I) BuildID: 2001012404 If the user has selected to send a huge mail with attachments, and has started to send. In between if he realises that it might take quite some time and wanted to stop sending, there is no option available for this in the current build. Stop button on the tool bar is disabled while sending the message. Reproducible: Always

To answer the question in that document, I think we do need a Stop button in mail compose, and it should stop whatever it's doing. Of course, if the SMTP phase is already done, we can't undo that. Nominating for 0.9.2.
