RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 383229

People

(Reporter: sworddragon2, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0
Build ID: 20110819161726

Steps to reproduce:

1. I opened a site with a login field which is in my password list.
2. I entered the correct master password and the login field auto filled itself.
3. I opened Edit -> Preferences -> Security -> Saved Passwords...
4. I selected a random entry in the list, made a right click and clicked on Copy Password.
5. Firefox wanted now that I enter the master password. But I clicked on Cancel.
6. I reloaded the page with the login field.

Actual results:

Firefox asked now again for the master password because the aborting in the preferences deleted the session.

Expected results:

The session should still be valid and the login field should be auto filled again.
