This page is for search add-ons (not search extensions).

* Add "Search Tools" category to "Extensions" drop-down menu.
* Rename "Search Tools" page to "Search Engines" (keeping with Firefox's naming).
* Redirect /search-tools/ to /search-engines/.
* Impalacize the page in the same style as that of the Extensions listing pages.

In addition to the above, this page is going to have a slightly different design and is important for us to launch about a month from now.

The landing page for this should only show featured search engines and they'll be in a grid with larger icons. gkoberger knows what I'm talking about.

Fligtar: When you say "larger", are we talking 64x64, or larger?

Additionally, what are going to be "featured"? Evidently, not being able to re-add Google is one of the biggest use cases (if I had to guess, an order of magnitude more so than, say, wanting to add something like XMarks Search or any of the other currently featured ones).

If it were up to me, I'd have a box on top with big icons of the major search engines: Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. Then below it, I'd have "featured" ones (such as DuckDuckGo and Blekko) with smaller icons.
Here's what I want to do:

The big box on the top (Google, Bing, etc) will be an auto-rotating carousel with visible arrows, so users can go through 2-3 screens of "top" search engines. I think this is the best way to make this page remotely useful.

Fligtar, yay or nay?
Okay at this point I'm just rambling, but a few more things I'd like:

 * I want a different button (probably "Choose" with a magnifying glass rather than a +) to differentiate between Search Providers and Search-related Add-ons.

 * Is there any way to white-list AMO so that we can auto-select the "Start using it right away?" option? If I clicked "Choose" for one of these, I'd expect it to install AND become the default right away.

 * Possibly some sort of animation, indicating that the add-on has been installed in the search bar. Very similar to how OSX shows an app pop out of the app store and into the doc. It doesn't have to be this in-your-face, but it would be nice to show people what's going on. (This should probably be a Firefox feature rather than an AMO one, but it'd be much faster to do it on our end.)

 * It would be kind of cool to create a way to test the search engine provider before you install it. But this is way out of the scope of this bug.

Fligtar, do you have screen shots of what the new search stuff in Firefox is going to look like?

Still waiting on stuff from Fligtar. Bumping.
