This machine has gotten screwed up and I can no longer test with it.  Please do the following:

1) install Mac OS X 10.6 on rev4-testing2 mini using the restore CD that ships with the mini.  Please don't install any updates.
2) enable SSH (remote login in system preferences -> sharing)
3) enable VNC (screen sharing in system preferences -> sharing)
4) set the computer and display to sleep never (system preferences -> energy saver)

Reinstalling 10.6 now
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
The OS has been reinstalled from scratch (without the additional Apps like garage band, et. al. that come on the second disk).  I've set up the cltbld account in addition to the steps you outline above, so you have a way to log in.  This machine has also been entered into inventory and labeled temporarily with a sticky note.
