Sounds like platform integration problem rather than disability issue. Steve?
Yes, and it's a dup of bug 691662.

How do I use below patches? https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/11ed523f1ea2 https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/4eb3558c97ad https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/ee9ab83779a9 This bug is regarding _Thunderbird_, not Firefox.
Thunderbird and Firefox share a lot of the same codebase, including the part that bundles Growl. The patch for bug 691662 hasn't yet found its way into any releases -- of Thunderbird or of Firefox. But current comm-central builds of Thunderbird should have it (available at ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/).

OK if the code is in the nightly builds how long before it reaches a stable beta release, I am using Thunderbird Beta 9 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:9.0) Gecko/20111130 Thunderbird/9.0 - Build ID: 20111130024153?

( http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/log ) Please tell me what commit (or patches) resolved the bug.
Anyone knows??
(In reply to henry0312 from comment #7) > Anyone knows?? They don't need to as we build mozilla central to make Thunderbird. This will be present in Thunderbird 11.
I am on the Thunderbird beta 11 and still no GROWL support, is there something I need to do? I have it setup in GROWL.
I'm running Thunderbird 11 Release. Growl 1.3.x is still broken.
