Please find all config instances of smtp2301.socketlabs-od.com and make sure they are changed to smtp.socketlabs.com

(copypasta)

Earlier this year we sent out notices that we were phasing out custom SMTP hostnames in favor of using smtp.socketlabs.com for all of our customers, which passes through our new, high availability cluster of SMTP receivers. We had originally stated that the cutoff for changing to this address was July 1, 2011.

It is now Monday, October 24, 2011, and in reviewing our logs over the past two weeks, it has come to our attention that you last used your old custom hostname, smtp2301.socketlabs-od.com as recently as October 24, 11:17 AM UTC.

Although we had previously informed you that we would be shutting down this custom address earlier in the year, we have left this service available as a courtesy since you had not yet switched over to the correct address.
SUMO uses socketlabs, at least in production if not staging. I know AMO does as well.
www.mozilla.org does as well. One concern I have is what username and password we should be using. It seems rather odd to have a particular employee (morgamic, in this case) referenced... there should probably be either a separate account per site, or a generic "mozilla" account.

Is there any particular reason we're using an external SMTP host for this stuff? Seems like something we should be doing in-house...

to avoid any of our IPs from ending up on RBLs due to trigger-happy admins and AI that think our emails are spam
I'd be happy to hand all this over and formalize some of this. It was ad-hoc during Firefox Home and it's just worked since, so haven't cleaned up much of the paperwork.
Summary: change all socketlabs pointers to smtp.socketlabs.com → change all socketlabs pointers to smtp.socketlabs.com by Nov 30
I did a quick search on our puppet svn repository for references but were not able to find any.

However, I do see this being set in settings_local.py in addons and sumo, and possibly others.

EMAIL_HOST = 'smtp2301.socketlabs-od.com'
I requested this value to be updated in addons push bug 702430 and sumo push bug 702628.
@morgamic would you know any other applications that may be using socketlabs smtp account?
