My email attachments are disappearing but when I log in to check my email they are showing up. If I forward the message the attachment is still there. This started with new version 8 update, and not only on my computer.

Could be similar to bug 701704.
Bug opener, are you talking about phenomenon of bug 701261(on audio/wav) or phenomenon of bug 701619(on application/pdf)?
yes it is the same as 701704 & 701261 but we use only use pdf
