Hi Ty, 

we will be running snippets to promote aurora in the beta channel. 
i know we had a few choices of snippets icons a few months ago from bug 673182.

I was wondering if we can have a few more options... so it's not just one logo after the other (especially appearing in the beta channel). maybe it can have a similar treatment as the current page design or the aurora facebook icon from bug 695506.

do you think we can squeeze this in for this week? if not, please advise on eta.

Do you know if were able to use a snippet larger than 40px x 50px?

i think we can... but they look disproportionately bigger, so in the past we've done mostly close to that size. 

we can experiment.. but i think for this particular ask esp the timing.. 40x50 should be okay. 

i can keep the bug open and see if can experiment with various sizes. Eventually it would be nice to have something a bit different and more eye catching than what we've always traditionally done.

thanks! these are amazing! 
we were unable to use them. 

apparently, they look a bit blurry or not as sharp. 
do we need a different file to use to implement them?

I think it's the wordmarks squished in that size that starts to appear pixelated.  It would be great if we can fix that... but in preview, they don't look as sharp.  Otherwise, they look great

Could not use the proper wordmark, so I had to look at an alternate font that would work for 8pt font sizes
