709146 - [km] Firefox initial web parts for Khmer

To release Firefox in Khmer, we need a way to promote it. We do that via http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/ web pages. There's a set of pages that are essential to having a successful Firefox localization and promotion, and those depend on the files listed below. All the files can be found on Mozilla's SVN server, and they will be added in your locale folder in webdashboard bug. Files that need to be translated are, namely:

* /firefox/index.html
* /firefox/4/firstrun/index.html
* /firefox/4/firstrun/fallback.inc.html
* /included/l10n/snippets.lang
* /includes/l10n/main.lang
* /includes/l10n/newsletter.lang
* /download/index.html
* /download/content.inc.html
* /plugincheck/index.html
* /plugincheck/content.inc.html
* /firefox/channel/index.html
* /firefox/channel/content.inc.html

Besides those, it would be nice to following page(s) translated:

* /about/

but it's not required. Also, the "Getting Started" bug deals with
* /firefox/central/

The Khmer team will be driving this bug to completion.

as per bug 709144, I have added all the pages that we use to promote localized builds on mozilla.org

Just clone https://svn.mozilla.org/project/mozilla.com/trunk/km , translate pages, commit changes back to repository or attach files here so we can commit those for you.

I just reopened a bug for you to get access to hg repository. Once that's done, I'll file a bug for you to be able to commit your changes directly to SVN.

you should use SVN(Subversion) client for fetching/committing changes to this. As bug 506614 isn't resolved yet, you may want to just clone repository, translate files, and attach them here. I can point you to a SVN tutorial for beginners I wrote, but it's mostly for linux/macos users, although Windows users can use it too.

Tutorial is at: https://developer.mozilla.org/User:Milossh/SVN but bare in mind that you can use TortoiseSVN (http://tortoisesvn.net/) which is a GUI SVN client for Windows.

Vanaak, thanks, that's all good now.

However, plugin checks page is not fully translated as you missed content.inc.html file. Would you please translate that too, so we can close the bug?

P.S. There was a problem with an extra double quote on plugincheck(specifically index.html page) that I fixed in revision r100302.

The state of Khmer on mozilla.org is good enough to not be a blocker for a release (as long as the release happens in Q1 or Q2, later the content would need to be updated).

I am marking this bug as fixed, note that we will probably file other bugs for pages that are good to have but not release-blocking.
