+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #662994 +++

These masters are ready to go on our end, just tying up the IT components. If we could get the nagios checks up and running (and silenced at first!), that would be great.
I'll do this when the iX machines move today (since those nagios changes are already staged)
