seen on linux 2001-03-13-05-mtrunk -compose a message in plaintext in a POP mail account send button seems inactive. can not send the message.

any possibility this is a dup of 71460 where composer buttons aren't working? Can you send an html mail?
sounds like #71224 to me; are any other buttons broken? Can you quit?
yes, I can send an html mail. and yes, with a plain text compose window open it looks like all the buttons are broken
I think this is a duplicate of bug 71224 (I think that bug 71460 is also a duplicate of 71224)
On my system, with 2001-03-13-05-mtrunk linux build, I can't send a mail as long as the mouse focus is on the mail body. It doesn't matter if the mail is a html or plain text mail and it doesn't matter either if the mail is sent in a POP or IMAP account.
i did send one message this morning...odd...i can't send any now!!

work around is to move mouse focus to another field (ie..subject) before attempting to send message lowering severity to critical

For some reason, msg compose doesn't receive anymore oncoammand event when the focus is in editor(message body)!

This as nothing to do with IMAP or POP, HTML or plain text, it's just a matter of commands dispatcher. Reassign to myself... and cc'ing few people in case they have a clue!

I also think that this is a duplicate of bug 71224. Is there any reason not to resolve this as a duplicate?
It's probably a dup of 71224 but I am not quiet sure as the symptom are slightly different!

Mac build:2001-03-13-10 From both Plain text compose and html compose, send button has no effect. When clicked on send button does nothing.
I'm sure it's the same as bug 71224. One of the command controllers for editor is "dead". Problem is in XP code, I'm investigating now. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 71224 ***
