Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: I customized folder layout for my default account inbox. Then I installed new addon, and restart Thunderbird by addons manager's "restart now" button. Actual results: After the restart layout of my default inbox folder was reset to default. Expected results: The layout should be preserved after restart
(In reply to Constantin Stefanov from comment #0) Restart with addons disabled: Go to Help ➙ Restart with Add-ons disabled just to check.
(In reply to Hashem Masoud from comment #1) > Restart with addons disabled: Go to Help ➙ Restart with Add-ons disabled > just to check. No difference. I restarted TB with addons disabled, installed new addon (no restart was required), then restarted again with addons disabled. My INBOX layout (folder columns) was reset to default state.
I want to make more exact. After the first restart with addons disabled the folder layout was intact, it was reset after the second restart. But suddenly when I restarted normally (exit TB and ran it again), my folder layout was again there (not default, but my custom, which was before I restarted TB with addons disabled).
same problem as bug 710056? See also bug 718038, please.
Yes, it seems it is a dup of bug 710056, so duping it.
