User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_3) AppleWebKit/534.53.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.3 Safari/534.53.10

Steps to reproduce:

can't use general shortcut (cmd + ` by default) to switch between windows under Mac OSX (tested on Lion)


Actual results:

nothing


Expected results:

go to next window

you're right, these are the shortcut to switch between tabs that are not working. click on a message to open a tab and try to cmd+shift+left arrow to switch between tabs.

They also work for me ctrl-tab and ctrl-shift-tab should work like in Firefox.

you're right :) It seems that theses shortcuts are working like cmd+shift+left/right. However they seem to not be supported by all applications. For example, Safari supports both whereas the Terminal.app supports only cmd+shift+left/right

We shouldn't have different shortcuts for the same actions, with some working on some applications, and some working on others

Right, according to TB keyboard shortcuts documentation (1), the following shortcuts should work on MAC OS:

Next Tab:
Control + Tab, OR
Command + Option + →

Previous Tab:
Control + Shift + Tab, OR
Command + Option + ←

Which of these are broken? Or is the documentation wrong?

If all of these work as expected and documented, let's please close this fuzzy thing. After that, feel free to write up a new *enhancement* request saying exactly which additional shortcuts you want for what commands, and why.

these shortcuts are working. I just don't understand why you didn't implement this shortcut as cmd+shift+left/right like in Safari or Terminal.app for example

The "problem" described in comment 0 and subsequent comments is not a bug (and this has been morphed on the way)

That might be a valid request for enhancement, feel free to file that in a new report with severity: enhancement. And please don't use summary like "don't work", because QA will start looking for bugs which don't exist!
