Build ID: 2001-03-28 (all OSs) Summary: Twisty icon on server remains after unsubscribing from all newsgroups off of a server. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a news server, such as news.mozilla.org 2. Subscribe to a couple groups, such as netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news and netscape.public.mozilla.mac 3. Unsubscribe from these two groups. Expected Results Server loses twisties and newsgroup names vanish. Actual Results: Newsgroups disappear like they should, but the twisty icon remains, and is still toggable (you can change the orientation of it.)

this bug for mail folders is because the (now empty) subdirectory that contained all the sub-mailboxes does not get deleted. you can manually delete the directory then collapse/expand the mail server to make the [+] disappear. i assume there is a similar problem for newsgroups. hope this tidbit helps.
