User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0
Build ID: 20120328051619
Steps to reproduce:
Flash in pop-ups open new (external) site with (target=) _blank
and:
Flash-links like
http://www.in-tanz.de/a/j/poly/poly-9.php#zwei
Actual results:
Flash in pop-ups open new Site with (target=) _blank open in the same popup as a new register card - instead of opening a new register card in the main browser.
And:
Flash-Links like
http://www.in-tanz.de/a/j/poly/poly-9.php#zwei
do no longer jump to that frame / reference point.
This refers to FF 11 and 12 at least
Expected results:
http://www.in-tanz.de/a/j/poly/poly-9.php#zwei
Dear Madam or Sir,
FF11 as well as FF12 will (at least in pop-ups) no longer jump to Flash-Links like
http://www.in-tanz.de/a/j/poly/poly-9.php#zwei
All other browsers resp. earlier FF do jump correctly to frame / reference #zwei.
the new Browser FF12 version 12.0 (date 4th of April 2012) opens pop-ups now in a different way to former versions or all other browsers.
If the file in the pop-up is a flash file with a link to open an external file/web site with (target=) _blank, it opens a new register - within - the pop-up.
All former versions and all other browsers open a new register card or window in the main (big) Firefox-window.
This new way may imply legal problems, as target blank is often used to clearly indicate content of different origin.
This is not a minor problem, as only my web-site contains over 13,000 Flash-Pop-Ups with over hundred thousand links affected as described above.
If necessary, I can program flash-examples in a test-account.

Dear Madam or Sir,
I am a bit disappointed. FF13 was published lately and still shows both flaws.
My customers are “not amused” to find that now at least three versions of Firefox (11,12,13) cannot cope with flash or pop ups properly.
If I can be of any help, please let me know.
Furthermore, I have just found another problem with cache / memorizing passwords, which might be connected to the problems with pop ups. For the time being, I will wait, whether it might be solved with the clearing of the other two problems.
Is there any solution to be expected in the near future?
I do know that you are all volunteers. But until now, no one seems to be officially assigned to these problems. “Assigned To: Nobody”. Or am I mistaken in this respect?
A short reply would be appreciated.
With kind regards,
in-Tanz
I added new test cases to prove, that the problems do not only occur in pop ups, but in the normal browser window as well.

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160), so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
