+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #744450 +++ +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #744445 +++ Because when we move FF14 to release, the latest mozilla-release testing will have been done with builds on OS X 10.7. We are also working on retiring rev2 build machines.

Comment on attachment 614046 [details] buildbot-configs when FF14 goes to mozilla-release Shouldn't this be a bigger/more invasive patch, given the "XXX When FF14 is on mozilla-release..." comment?

yah, i have the beginnings of that patch, but esr10 slightly complicates matters. i'll figure out the esr10 stuff and post a big patch. I still want to have this patch ready to go because the bigger one will bitrot quickly, i think.

When Firefox 14 moves to mozilla-release, the builds need to be done off rev5 builders. There are three approaches: 1) move the old macosx64 to a branch specific, similar to http://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/file/eca4c52ce5ea/mozilla/config.py#l1307 2) take the patches from bug 720027 that rename macosx64 back to macosx 3) take the patch in this bug, which is less than ideal but does work

Well, it's too late to do the proper patch now. I've got a duplicate of this patch up for review in bug 758795, and I filed bug 773657 to fix the configs. In the future, I'm going to r- any hacks like this before they land in the first place. I suggest everyone else do the same.
