User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.152 Safari/535.19

Steps to reproduce:

Unified Folders View
Unified Inbox
Thread messages then sort by Star (star on top).


Actual results:

Messages thread, sort by star on top, but the newest messages went to button of the list.


Expected results:

Messages thread, sorted by star on top and newest messages near bellow the star ones.

If you order on the same way, direct inside one inbox folder, order works perfect. I think that was some problem on Unified view message order

Where I wrote "order" change to "sort", I think in this case sort makes more sense than the word order. Sorry my "perfect" English!

I didn't know if I understand well your question... you want the steps to reproduce this view?

Go to Menu
VIEW > FOLDERS > UNIFIED
VIEW > CONVERSATION VIEW (CHECK)

On FOLDER PANE
 Select Unified INBOX

On MESSAGE LIST
 Click to display message threads
 Click to sort by star (star on top)


PS: It's possible you need install add-on "Thunderbird Conversations 2.3.2"

Maybe that was caused by the add-on. You should disable it then check the result.

The same problem happens in safe-mode (restarted with all add-ons disabled)

The problem happens only in unified view on sort. 
I tried to install Earlybird version to test, but the problem persist.
