User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19
Steps to reproduce:
Windows 7 / Thunderbird 11.0.1
Workflow:
1.) Read new mail with attachment
2 [review].) Click on attachment saving in bottom bar
3.) Windows dialogue opens
4.) MOST IMPORTANT: change attachment name !
5.) Click save
6.) Check folder => attachment cannot be opend due to missing extension
This does NOT HAPPEN, when the attachment name stays unchanged and you only click save!
Workaround 1:
When changing the attachment file name while saving add the extension in the dialogue => e.g. attachment.pdf
Workaround 2:
Go to windows folder and manually add the extension
