It would be nice to have a separate page for people to manage icons, screenshots, video, tiles and whatever else we decide to require of them

One of the nice things about the current dev hub is it's simplicity.  We're already up to 5 links in the sidebar.  If/when we get to the point where icons become ungainly to manage lets talk, but as it stands the current page is sufficient.

Potch and I actually asked Krupa to file this.

This will be done as part of bug 744648 since we're now adding store tile and promo graphics, and the Edit Media section will become too large.

Bug 738800 is for improving the UX of payments setup and consolidating the Manage Payments, Manage PayPal, and Manage In-App Payments into one page. Should be slick. @gkoberger has some nice things in the works!

Basta, do we still want to do this - with the fancy icon stuff?

There's not really a use for it now aside from moving the media stuff to its own page and having slightly finer-grain control over icons. Since icons aren't really used at very small sizes, though, this is kind of moot.
