Adding 2 points for this, since all we need to do is merge the (somewhat complex) pull request.

That and actually put the file attachments out there. :)

I think so. At least attachments are displayed all over developer-new since last week :-)

And that's beautiful.
Displaying of attachments is done. Adding of attachments is 99%. Editing of attachments is 20%.
Are there separate bugs for attaching and editing?

Should this bug be in a sprint or have points? It's a tracking bug

Let's keep this as a tracking bug for attachment enhancements that should to be made. Moving it out of the release according to Sheppy's request.

Are we using this bug for the revamp of attachments we've talked about in the past, or is there another bug for that? Clearly we still have significant issues with how attachments work, and the awkward UX issues caused by that.

We've talked about a revamp of attachments in the past? :) (I don't recall that discussion)

Probably worth opening a new bug & fleshing out details. Current attachments were built to be MindTouch-compatible, but they're not great
Can you explain what you mean by "awkward UI issues"?

Yeah; it's been most of a year now, I think, so I'm not surprised you don't remember. I'm pretty sure groovecoder and ubernostrum will remember this though, and probably davidwalsh. You weren't as much a part of them.

I've filed bug 960772 for this.
We have a Bugzilla component for file attachments now, and the dependencies of this bug seem to have nothing else in common, so I don't see the need for this tracker being open. Closing it out, but feel free to continue to use this discussions as a reference.
