When I click on the arrow to the right of the URL bar and get the history drop
down, I can't scroll it with the mouse wheel. I have to either use the keyboard
or drag the scroll bar with the mouse. Possibly a focus problem?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you have enough URLs in history to merit having a scroll bar in
said menu.
2. Click with mouse to get the menu.
3. Try to scroll down the menu with the mouse wheel.

Actual Results:  Menu can't be scrolled with mouse wheel

Expected Results:  menu should scroll.
Doesn't work in recent cvs build either, Linux. Hasn't worked since the new
"autocomplete" was checked in. Confirming bug.

This may or may not be of interest but the autocomplete menu (as oposed to the
history menu) _can_ be scrolled with the mouse wheel.

To see this, type 'bug' into the URL bar and you will, most likely, get a list
of bugzilla.mozilla.org urls to choose from. You may have to move the mouse out
of and back into the menu, but you should be able to scroll it with the mouse wheel.

There appears to be someone who refuses to use mozilla, in part, because of this
bug... kinda stupid reason, if you ask me, but there it is:

I'm not one to talk, since I have no intention to work on this, but it wouldn't
seem like this would be too complicated to fix...

Bug is still valid, also in Linux, so it's NOT a WinXP related issue, the bug
description is incorrect.
This wfm on XP. I'll set to Linux only if anyone is still having problems. Feel
free to switch it back anyone on WIndows still sees this.
This is still a Windows problem also.  Despite comment 20, I'm still seeing this
with the 6/15-07 build under XP.

This patch builds on the scrolling changes I did for bug 97283.
It's a diff against the code with that patch, not the repository.

whoops, sorry. I see it now, but only in Seamonkey. This *is* WFM in Firefox
branch on WinXP, so no need to block aviary-1.0 unless it's an issue on other
platforms.

Was this just a problem with Classic, or did it affect Modern too?
It affected both (and most likely any other theme too).
The reason that confuses me is that I thought Modern used the same scrolling
mechanism on menulists that it does on, say, the Bookmarks menu, for which I
believe the scroll wheel does work.
Maybe you are thinking of the URL bar completion menu ?
(which was working even before bug 97283)
Where do you think I got the code to scroll the bookmarks menu from ;-)
