Steps to reproduce:

Shortcut key does not work with Cyrillic layout: F, T, N, B, P, Ctrl+Shift+C  and other!!!

Ubuntu 12.04.1, Fluxbox 1.3.2, Thunderbird 15.0


Actual results:

Nothing! Need to switch to English layout :( 
Ctrl+Shift+C not at all, only click on the menu


Expected results:

Go - Next - Unread Message (N)
Go - Next - Unread Thread (T)
Ctrl+Shift+C tab chat
...

Bug 87253 is about making menu access keys with non-latin characters activate even when the keyboard is in Latin layout.

This bug is about making shortcuts with latin characters activate even when in non-Latin layout.  That should be working with Ctrl+C, for example, so apparently the shortcuts here are implemented differently.

Then this is a duplicate of Bug 505569? Mark As Read and Mark All As Read non-Latin problem (Ctrl+Shift+key doesn't work)

According to bug 505569, comment 14 Shift+LETTER and LETTER don't work.
Reporter also says Ctrl+Shift+C for Chat tab doesn't work, which should work, according to that bug...
So either the reporter is wrong and this bug is a duplicate, or there is another reason that this specific key combination doesn't work, e.g. when the key combination isn't pressed on the main tab, it doesn't work.

Marking as duplicate, because of no reaction from original poster and report from comment #5 also only mentions non-working keys with no modifiers or only Shift modifier.
