I did two commits here: https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/getfirebug.com (rev: 109003 and 108968) I have removed a link at 108968, but I can still see it at the bottom of this page: https://blog.getfirebug.com/ (it's the Parakey, Inc) And at the bottom of every blog post https://blog.getfirebug.com/2012/09/13/firebug-1-11-alpha-3/ Sounds like the blog is still not updated. Or did I anything wrong? Honza
I am reopening this bug. AFAIK the site is still not updated. See my comments #2 Honza

(In reply to Jan Honza Odvarko from comment #3) > I am reopening this bug. > > AFAIK the site is still not updated. > > See my comments #2 > > Honza I missed that you were talking about edits to blog.getfirebug.com, blog.getfirebug.com is a completely separate site from getfirebug.org and is a standalone Wordpress site. Changes made to the site in SVN won't show up on blog.getfirebug.com, you'll need to make edits via https://blog.getfirebug.com/wp-login.php Thanks
Summary: getfirebug.com not updating? → blog.getfirebug.com not updating?
The update cron job does seem to be working for getfirebug.com, and you can always check what revision the site is at by viewing https://getfirebug.com/revision_info.txt If you need assistance editing the Wordpress blog.getfirebug.com let us know Thanks

(In reply to Brandon Burton [:solarce] from comment #5) > I missed that you were talking about edits to blog.getfirebug.com, > blog.getfirebug.com is a completely separate site from getfirebug.org and is > a standalone Wordpress site. OK, I see > Changes made to the site in SVN won't show up on blog.getfirebug.com, you'll > need to make edits via https://blog.getfirebug.com/wp-login.php So, I tried to edit footer.php & footer.html to do the same as in revision 108968 (https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/getfirebug.com) I went to Appearance -> Editor menu. - The footer.html file is not available in the list of file on the right side - The footer.php file is there, but after I do my changes I can't safe them. I don't see any "Update File" button. Do I need higher privileges? Honza
Could anyone help here please? Honza

It seems this change was committed to SVN six weeks ago, it just needs to be pushed to production. http://viewvc.svn.mozilla.org/vc/projects/getfirebug.com/tags/production/blog/wp-content/themes/firebug/footer.php?revision=108968&view=markup
I'm not sure if the blog was moved to it's own folder at some point, but blog.getfirebug is a completely separate site and document root and the themes/firebug folder is not a checkout from svn, which is why the updates aren't being propagated, and I didn't notice the theme was in SVN I will make it a checkout from SVN and modify the update script for the blog to pull down changes from SVN in the cron job that updates prod, but it won't automatically upgrade Wordpress I should have this done later tonight Thanks Craig and Honza for the help and info

Thanks! Honza
I've made the following updates to blog.getfirebug.com's setup 1. Moved it to a directory structure that follows how we normally deploy Wordpress sites and updated Apache's configs to respect this. This has been pushed live and tested by myself and :cturra 2. Written an update script that will update the getfirebug_content directory from SVN, the script produces an update file at https://blog.getfirebug.com/getfirebug_content/revision_info.txt that you check to see what version it's on 3. I added the update script to the cron job that updates getfirebug.com and runs every 15 minutes The cron ran at 10:15am PST Oct 24 10:15:01 genericadm CROND[23095]: (root) CMD (/usr/bin/flock -w 10 /var/lock/blog.getfirebug-prod /data/genericrhel6/src/blog.getfirebug.com/update) The next step is to make a trivial edit to SVN and confirm it shows up, maybe a html comment in the footer?

(In reply to Brandon Burton [:solarce] from comment #16) > The next step is to make a trivial edit to SVN and confirm it shows up, > maybe a html comment in the footer? I tested this and works just fine. My commit is revision: 110215 and I can see the changes live now. Thanks! Btw. getfirebug.com is quite broken (must have happened in past 24 hours), see my comment here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=800311#c12 Just mentioning it here in case it's related to the changes.
