Steps to reproduce:

Opening bug to track creating a localization of the Get Involved page with Ioana Chiorean as the point person.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Locale: ro / Romanian
Ever confirmed: true
Blocks: 755351
The files are in your svn repo (mozorg and emails folders). CCing our locale leader for mozilla.org since he should be involved :) Ioana, Raul, can you sync up on this bug? Thanks

Yes, ideally messages to that address should be received by several people or be a mailing list so as to organize responses to the inquiries.

I think one of contact@mozilla.ro or contribuie@mozilla.ro should work.

Missing steps to close this bug (page is already on production):
* complete localization of contribute.lang (http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~pascalc/langchecker/?locale=ro#mozorg/contribute.lang)
* the Get involved page is currently using a new template for 15 Years, so there's another file to localize: http://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.com/trunk/locales/en-GB/mozorg/15years.lang
* generate a localized banner for the 15 years template
* localize email templates for auto-replies (if you plan to use them)

I'm going to use the localized string for "15 years of a better Web" to create this localized banner for you. Let me know as soon as the localization is good to use.

This is not a problem, a lot of locales are not using them.

Is it possible to have a shorter localization for the title?

It must be used to create a custom banner, and that sentence is a lot longer than the original. If it's not possible, I'll have to do the second part on two lines.

ro team: please review and commit the file to SVN when ready.
Maybe:
<strong>15 ani</strong> de web mai bun?

Once you tell me that the localization of 15years.lang is complete, I can go ahead and request to enable your locale.

Reviewed translation and commit in r118429 .
When banners is done this bug is resolved.

Note that the dev page is still using the old template, it will be changed as soon as the pull request is accepted.
What pull request? From github? Also in stage page strings for Quality assurance section appear untranslated, but are translated in lang file.

Fixed in r118431.
Francesco, on https://www.mozilla.org/ro/contribute/ and https://www.allizom.org/ro/contribute/ I see another page (with one video). Can you fix this?
As explained in comment 27, the page will change when webdevs merge the pull request and push it to production (it could take some days).
Still no live page? :( At least, I want to see how it looks on staging server (www.allizom.org) :D
The page is still not live and there was a problem with the code that I fixed this morning. No staging server either, you just need to be a little more patient ;-)
