i have committed the change for prod, which should be available in about 30 minutes. 

there was another bug (752589) opened for a similar redirect earlier in the year that had mentioned a project reboot at some point in the near future. is that something that is still planned or is this redirect to blog the "reboot" ?

Hey Chris. Thanks for checking in. That older bug (752589) was a placeholder, and this current one is the reboot discussed within. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of us redirecting yet again to a more robust site eventually, but we'll be sticking with this current plan for awhile at least.

John - thanks for the update. i would have wanted to change things around a little if this redirect was the final reboot, but if it still might change, everything is okay the way it is.

FYI I'm archiving and dropping the databases for these, as they haven't been touched in a long time (a table called admin_hot_designs was last changed Jun 2013, everything else was last changed Aug 31 2012.)

If you need the db in place, I can put it back. (leaving this resolved)
