I'd like to add a bugmail filter based on the contents of the whiteboard, so I'd like an X-Bugzilla-Whiteboard header please.

I'm against this (at least initially), as we put a ton of information in the whiteboard header that could/would be considered security-sensitive, and there's no way to encrypt the contents of e-mail headers, so that would be plain text. Also, it's a free-form field, so I'm worried about the security implications of allowing it as an e-mail header and possible abuse that could be done.

I agree as well as there are special concerns involved with including any type of free-form text fields in email headers. Other fields are not a problem where we are in control of the values such as product, component, etc. We should see if there is a different solution to your request.
