Please setup a subdomain to collect pings sent by the stub-installer. The sub-domain setup is similar to snippets-stats.mozilla.org / about:home snippet server that is used to collect impression stats.

Use http://downloads-stats.mozilla.org/.

It's not alive yet, but I can have it online today.

Do we care if this is SSL-enabled? Seems unnecessary to me, given the intended purpose.

Correction: we'll use http://download-stats.mozilla.org/ instead (not pluralized). Confirmed in #planning this hasn't landed yet and was easily adjusted. Thank you! :)
