Steps to reproduce:

tried to delete unwanted emails (both via the delete button and by right clicking->Delete message option)


Actual results:

was marked as read but not deleted

Error message is this:

I just did a complete system reinstall and the problem is still there.
I even upgraded to Thunderbird 17.0

Any help please

Yes the problem is still there and its really annoying :)
Flags: needinfo?(ChiefUno) → needinfo?
but if I use SHIFT+DELETE the mails are deleted, but this shouldn´t really be nessasary

Thanks. Shift+delete avoids accessing the Trash folder. Meaning this problem is related it accessing trash

but how do i fix it :)
Try rightclick on the Trash folder -> Properties -> Repair.
nope :(

as said before...im unable to push delete and also right clicking the message and choose delete.
Only shift+delete and drag´n´drop works
