Very often I have the need to comment emails in my inbox for my own use.
This is helpful if I later look into the mail.
For example I have a mail with the text "ok, I'll promise I will do it" and I would like to add the note "asked him on phone to give me 1000 dollars".
Also, it would be nice to mark the mail with a date, for example how long it is valid. Let's say I get a mail with an invitation to a party on 1mar2013, so I would keep that mail and mark it to be deleted on 2MAR2013.
This could be done with some extra headers which are stored with the mail.
For example
X-Mozilla-Comment: asked him on phone to give me 1000 dollars
