Thunderbird 17.0 and Thunderbird 'Daily' trunk 20121201030316, Windows XP SP3 and Ubuntu Linux 12.04 64 bit

Editing my vcard which gets attached to outgoing messages in the account manager doesn't save the settings in the 'chat' tab.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the account manager.
2. Select a mail account (can be IMAP or RSS).
3. Check to attach the vCard and click on 'Edit Card'.
4. Enter a firstname, lastname and mail address (required).
5. Go to the chat tab and enter some data in some fields.
6. Click 'OK'.
7. Open the 'Edit Card' dialog again and go to the 'Chat' tab.

Actual result:
All fields in chat tab empty.

Expected result:
Field values saved.

The values in the three other tabs persist.

I don't see any "chat" tab when I edit my own vcard in Thunderbird 25. So I wonder if it was not introduced by error in TB17 and then removed. Or maybe this is because I don't have any chat's account set up in Thunderbird?

Could you download TB24 beta from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel and confirm if the chat tab is still here?

In Thunderbird 78.6.1 chat tab not available when editing an account vCard (available only when editing a contact card). Suggest to close.
