bug 821262 leaves a couple questions open that need to be resolved. - should we continue to show the "current" providers icon in the toolbar button or do we show a default social icon - what text do we show in the menus when disabled?
As an additional note, we need a name and icon for use in bug 755126.

conclusion from work week meeting: - we will continue to show the provider icon when disabled - we will continue to show the text "Turn On Provider_Name" during aurora - we will revisit text with the addon manager in bug 755126
