We have some work to do to support right-to-left languages in Metro Firefox. This will mostly involve adding RTL versions of certain image assets and CSS rules, and then auditing our UI for any RTL-specific bugs.
If we know we're going to support RTL then we can move this to backlog I think. Otherwise we can move this to v2.
I think it's important that we have basic RTL support for our primary UI (at least the app bars and tab strip.) I'll create a story that covers our MVP for RTL for v1 and attach it here.
Summary: Story - Support RTL locales in Metro Firefox → Support RTL locales in Metro Firefox

Note: For testing in English builds, create a string preference with name "intl.uidirection.en" and value "rtl".
(In reply to Matt Brubeck (:mbrubeck) from comment #3) > Note: For testing in English builds, create a string preference with name > "intl.uidirection.en" and value "rtl". In addition, you can edit this file to change the direction for in-content UI (about: pages). http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/locales/en-US/chrome/global.dtd
