Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130409194949
Steps to reproduce:
I was going to a website and tried to see the source of the HTML page.
I tried mouse right-clicking "View page source".
Actual results:
The specific website disabled mouse right-clicking, so I could not access the "View page source" menu.
Expected results:
Menu "View page source" should bee available also under the upper "View" menu.
This is a bug not an enhancement, since I cannot access a Firefox menu item!.
Summary: View page source must be available also in the upper menu (Some websites disable right-mouse click") → View page source must be available also in the upper menu (Some websites disable right-mouse click)
It's still there, but it got moved to the "Web developer" menu in bug 653221.
Ctrl+U key should also work for viewing page source.
See also bug 657088.
1. Thanks, I found it now.
2. I guess that not only web developers need (sometimes) to view the source of a page, so maybe consider to move it to the old location, which is also more accessible.
