Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.1+) Gecko/20010629 I tried this new feature, and it works very well! Except for this: When the search field is empty, the tree looks bad (as usual) with the disaligned columns and all that. But when I type something in, the entire tree switches to something else - some kind of tree with a columnpicker, and the columns gets the right align. Why is this? Is it possible that making this type-down-only tree be there always to fix the columns-disaligned problem?
It looks particularly bad that it switches to an entirely different tree when you type something. It gives the impression of an "unstable" UI.
from bug 86200. note, because I'm using a deck widget that contains the tree and an outliner you'll notice some UI issues. namely: 1) the tree looks a little different than the outliner (notice the border colors) 2) the column headers won't match up. these will get fixed once the tree is removed and dialog is completely implemented with an outliner. but that's futured. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 76552 ***

Re-opening. This is a DUP of my bug 88499, which will remain open until Seth dups it. The tracker bug is useful for tracking these individual issues, not just duping generically against.

This is a dup, and will get fixed when outliner lands (I re-opened my bug on that), verifying it's a dup of the bug I filed.
