following the landing of bug 783282. dragging a tab from the app area to the tabstrip and vice versa is no longer possible in the same window. see also bug 787897. however, doing so between two different windows is still possible, which does not seem consistent. this was not the case before (see bug 590297) but it seems that now that bug is wfm.
