User Story:

As a user if I go to dialer app and press call button once, I want the dialer app to display in the dialer the last MO number in the call log.

User should be informed of any error scenarios with an appropriate message.

Preconditions:

* Dialer App is open
* Dialer field is empty  - no number has been typed in the field

Acceptance Criteria:

* If call log is empty or no MO call has been placed before alert the user accordingly 
* If call log contains a MO number display the number in the dialer field
* This feature works even if there is no network coverage or radio is switched off (including flight mode)

Hi Ayman, one minor issue regarding Francis' proposal. The proposed message is "Call log is empty". But the point is that the Call Log may contain incoming calls but no outgoing calls (the latest one of which we want to retrieve) so I suggest as the message to show something such as: "No outgoing calls" or whatever :-) What do you think? Thanks!

Good spot German. "No outgoing calls" works for me.

Hi guys, from a messaging standpoint, this seems like a strange place to put a message to me. If I as a user arrive to this scenario, it is either because the phone is new and I have never made a call before -- maybe I don't even expect my previous calls to be retrieved and am now confused/worried by the "error" message that I see -- or because I have recently erased my call log.

Putting a negative message (i.e., "No previous calls", "No outgoing calls", etc.) seems likely to confuse or frustrate the user. Could it be more effective to find a subtle, simple visual cue that there is no information available, without giving the idea that it is a problem or an error?

If a message is needed, I would put:

"No previous outgoing calls"
