STR
1.Download and Install latest Firefox.
2.Set Firefox as default browser.
3.Click on Firefox APP.Metro Firefox will open.
4.Open Options from settings of Metro Firefox.You should see “Remember Passwords” toggle button.
5.Enable “Remember Passwords” toggle button.You should see “On”.
6.Open any website which requires password to login.
7.Enter email and password.

Expected result:
Metro Firefox should ask to remember password.

Actual result:
Metro Firefox didn't ask to remember password.

Why are we expecting the browser to ask to save passwords if the user enabled saving passwords in the options?

I just want to inform that when I restarted tablet, Firefox was asking me to remember password. I used same steps as above.

Oh I see, we prompt with the notification panel. I'm unable to flip the password pref from on to off, are you seeing that Samvedana?

I don't have any problem in flipping password pref from on to off.

Remember password worked fine for me on a clean profile.

I created Bug 891664 for the pref toggle not working.

Is this still an issue?  When I sign in to BrowserID, metroFx pops up a message asking if I'd like it to remember my password

I can not reproduce this issue on latest nightly from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/2013/07/2013-07-12-03-02-03-mozilla-central/

Metro Firefox asked me to remember password.
I can change setting using "Remember Passwords" toggle button.
