From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010708
BuildID: 2001070404
When installing Mozilla and enabling the Quick Launch feature on windows,
uninstall will not work anymore. When you select to uninstall Mozilla, the
procedure is the same as usually and afterwards the Mozilla entry is removed
from the list of installed software, so you would think uninstall has proceeded
as usually. But when checking the directory, Mozilla is still there (and even
running in the background) and can be started as usual.
After reboot, mozilla.exe is removed from the system, which leads to the problem
described in bug 70892 reappearing: If you uninstall mozilla and immediately
reinstall (a newer version of) mozilla, this installation will be broken after
the next reboot.
Furthermore, it appears, that only mozilla.exe is removed after reboot, while
almost all other files and subdirectories are kept, so this problem is not only
about forcing the user to reboot after uninstall.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uninstall mozilla
2. Look into Mozilla directory
3. Reboot
Actual Results: Mozilla is not removed after uninstall. After reboot
mozilla.exe is removed.
Expected Results: Uninstall should ensure that all files are removed from
mozilla directory, either immediately or after a reboot, in which case the user
has to be notified.
The turbo mode problem should have been fixed by bug 87033. Try it with a newer
build.
As to the problem with not being able to delete files in use after a reboot
under Win98, it is definitely a problem if this is really happening. I'll have
to investigate that.

QuickLaunch does not uninstall.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install build 2001091405 with QuickLaunch enabled
2. Uninstall (you will see that the QuickLaunch icon is still in the tray)
3. When you try to install again, you will get the error "Setup has detected an
instance of Netscape 6 is currently running. Please quit Netscape 6 before
continuing Setup..."
Note: I am unable to right click on the QuickLaunch icon in the tray to close
out. If I double click on the icon it gives me an empty Profile Manager screen
prompting me to create a new profile.

FYI: I am unable to open any previous installs of N6. It just gives me the empty
Profile Manager screen prompting me to create a new profile.
this is essentially a dupe of bug 99646. Looks like it might have just gotten
fixed too.
