Logic was added to the banner notification for alarms to display days remaining for Alarms set to greater than 24 hours in Bug 797792. Steps to reproduce: * Switch the locale from english to French (or Arabic or Chinese) * Set an alarm for < 24 hours from now, you should see a correctly localized banner notice * Set an alarm for >24 hours from now. You should see a banner notice in english, regardless of locale. The localization files in apps/clock/locales contain strings for `countdown-moreThanADay` only for English.
Alex tells me that this is on us. From bug 921093: > I'll WONTFIX this, but anyone can go in and take an update from the hg repos > and land them in gaia.
