User Story:

As a user I want the device to support 8021.x EAP-SIM authentication for WLAN so I can manually select this then I setup my WLAN connection. 


Acceptance Criteria:

AC1: As a user I want to have an option to select "802.1x EAP-SIM" for WLAN authentication in the WLAN settings menu 

AC2: As a user I expect to set SSID at the same screen as the authentication method

AC3: As a user I don't want to have to configure/see any other configuration for EAP-SIM than SSID, Authentication method.

I wonder if this user scenario is suit for our device..
After user enable wifi scan function, device will display the WIFI access point with SSID and authentication method. User can directly select which WIFI access point he want to connect. Then user can select the authentication type for phase 2.

For EAP-SIM there is no option for phase 2. For other WPA-EAP implementation you are right there are.

remove WAP-EAP bugs from depends on list.

We fix this user story in Gecko and Gaia. But Vendor need to support EAP SIM function for their platform. Since it depends on what platform is chose by OEM, this part is supposed to be owned by OEM. Using bug 923359 for tracking. But it is not going to block this feature.

Close this user story. If you want to test this feature, please use a wpa_supplicant with enabling EAP-SIM.
