User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131115110311

Steps to reproduce:

I had FF 25.0.1 send a request for https://ziprecruiter.zendesk.com/attachments/token/mzurygyttaiwo3o/?name=16022880461-1121-081740-401.mp3 . The response came back with status 200 OK and Content-Type "audio/mpeg".

Actual results:

A dialog box popped up asking for the disposition of the file; a screenshot is attached.

Expected results:

The browser should have downloaded the audio file and launched mplayer to play the file automatically, because I had previously submitted this dialog with the “Do this automatically for files like this from now on.” box checked, and the radio button set to “Open with”, the “mplayer” item selected on the menu.
I have tried this repeatedly, and the dialog comes up over and over, regardless of how many times I submit it with “Do this automatically from now on” checked.

Clicking “OK” in the dialog downloads the file and executes mplayer properly.

I also have checked the “applications” preferences pane; it indicates that files of type "MP3 audio" and "MPEG Audio URL" should be handled with mplayer.

Can we fix this?

And in addition, if you choose "save file" and "Do this automatically from now on", it will really follow the instruction and automatically save the file without asking; but for "Open with..", it will keep asking no matter how many times you checked "Do this automatically from now on".

That's not what I'm getting now. The first response is 302 Found. The second response sends Content-Disposition: attachment. Duping accordingly.
