Add Persona extension to wiki.m.o. This extension was recently patched upstream[1] to support the REL1_19 extended service release. We can now install it and (fingers crossed) use it in our infra. This bug is to track that progress.

This is not working. Some issues were fixed, however the primary issue on the REL1_19 release still exists. I have done some extensive testing on a Strackato dev instance which, having that in place, will make future testing quite a bit faster.

I updated the bug at wikimedia from comment 1 and will see what happens.

Christie, does this bug belong into the wiki component?

FWIW, I believe this could help reduce spam as the spambots probably do not have Persona support at this time.

This is still waiting on resolution of the wikimedia bug in comment #1

Well, there's also talks about moving us to a newer mediawiki release, maybe that would help as well. :)

Please hold off on implementing this until you get the go-head from me or another wiki module owner. We're working on prioritizing extension installation requests and other issues.

The persona service will be decommissioned later this year, so I recommend against taking any further action to enable it anywhere.  Any objection to WONTFIXing it?

(I'm doing a bit of a bugzilla audit on outstanding persona-related bugs as part of preparing for the decomission)
