We need a function similar to SaveMessageToDisk() that takes an nsIInputStream to receive the data instead of a disk file.
Scott, if possible, pls assign a target milestone to this bug. Thanks.

Moving into M11. we needed this for fixing reply in the new message display world. I'm checking in the fix tonight. to verify, try the following for a news article, local msg and imap message: 1) select the message so it displays. 2) File/Save/File 3) type in the name of a file. Look at the file in a text editor and verify that the rfc822 message is stored there.
Using a debug build from 11/4/99 on Windows NT It works for IMAP and News. Can't seem to download a message using a pop account. Will verify after that is resolved.
