Description:
No matter which alert noise is selected no sound plays when alarm set in Clock app goes off. In addition, while setting alarm in Clock app the sound selection plays no preview when different tones are selected in list.
Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to Build ID: 20140121040201
2) Open Clock app
3) Ensure that phone volume is set above 50% to ensure any alarm will be heard
4) Select bell icon in upper right corner to create new alarm
5) Fill in all fields and ensure that an alert sound is selected
6) Wait for alarm to go off
Actual:
Clock alarm plays no sound when activated.
Expected:
Clock alarm plays appropriate sound when activated.

Something tells me this is a gecko regression, as this bug reproduces via just trying to play the tone directly in the app.

Marcus - Can you give me some pointers on what sound file is being played here from the gaia repository? I'm assuming this isn't a gaia regression, as this sounds more likely like a media regression.
Component: Gaia::Clock → Video/Audio
Flags: needinfo?(m)
Product: Firefox OS → Core
Version: unspecified → Trunk

Actually, I found it. The files are all opus files. Looks like opus is busted on trunk in Firefox OS.

The only patch suspicious in the regression range for causing this is bug 960840.
Ralph - Any ideas?

Discussed in Gaia meeting - this is a builds issue in Gaia, not an Opus bug.

Going to dupe to Ben's bug cause it better describes the problem here.

Yeah, bug 960840 only affects linux-gcc builds for intel and shouldn't affect B2G.
