The download manager receives no event (ondownloadstart) in Gaia so we cannot show the message "No memory card found". Thanks Aus

I have the same problem if I try to delete a downloaded file while the device is connected as USB storage.
Do I need that I open another bug or the bug is solved with this?

Putting this one back for now. I've been told that if the SD card is missing, the download fails and the Download Manager doesn't even know a download was attempted. (And there's no way for the Download Manager to know that a download was attempted.)

949991 will add a way for the Download Manager to know about failed download attempts.

This should be fixed with 949991 landing on mozilla-inbound. If it builds and passes tests as expected (no reason why it shouldn't), it will get merged into central and be available in the 03/07 nightly.

Since this bug is a difference use case than the one reported in 949991 I will not dupe it.
The bug 949991 has been fixed but the bug 965159 is still open. Can you check the bug 965159?

This bug is resolved as well. When no memory card is present in the device the error is reported the same way as when the SD card is mounted via USB to the host computer.
