Details
(Whiteboard: [mozmill-test-failure])
Module: testEnableExtension
Test: restartTests/testAddons_enableDisableExtension/test3.js
Failure: AddonsManager_isAddonEnabled: Add-on has been specified. - got 'undefined'
Branches: multiple
Platforms: OSX 10.6
This has failed several times in the last days.
The issue is hard to track since we din't had any reports sent to the dashboard for OSX 10.6 until today.
The mentioned test is nto the only one affected, other Addon tests are also affected.
We get about 4 errors per testrun.
I expect this will fail again, and will populate with more data tomorrow as the failures will be recorded in the dashboard.
I initially though of a network issue, but all of them on different times.
They also are not bound to a specific machine.
While several have been spotted on mm-osx-106-3, I've also seen them on mm-osx-106-4.
Any way, we might be able to observe if there is a pattern once more reports will be logged in the dashboard.

Andrei, which branches are really affected here? Nothing has been specified yet.

Unfortunately we don't more info here.
No dashboard reports prior to 13th Feb (until we upgraded to mozmill 2.0.5).
And from the 14th all 106 tests failed due to bug 972891.
I'll keep the needinfo flag until we have more info.
I don't have more at the moment.

Interestingly the multiple failure rates I was seeing until last week stopped.
This hasn't failed once in the daily testruns in the past week, and in the release testruns this failed twice: both with a zh-CN locale on mm-win-vista-4.
I'll check if there is a problem with this specific machine + locale

Seems to be a locale problem.
I've reproduced Addon-related failures on both the CI Vista machine and my OSX 10.9 box

Failed the first couple of times I've ran the test.
Now that I've tried looking a bit deeper into this, it doesn't fail anymore :(

This is intermittent.
I've seen this fail while running some AMO related test directly with mozmill.
When it failed with "Add-ons Manager has been opened" instead of the Addons Manager tab, instead of the AMO page, the "about:home" page was loaded in the central frame.
