981160 - Bengali in 1.3t builds

Bengali should be present on 1.3T builds, but it seems it's not. 
If it is, it's not possible to tell because the 2 locales present there that use non-Latin alphabet don't have the appropriate fonts to tell what they are.

Can someone please create a 1.3T build with Bengali (bn-BD) enabled and with appropriate fonts/keyboards/etc so I can test it?

Delphine, which github do you use, sprd-ffos github or mozilla-b2g github?

I have done the gaia part.Does the gecko part need to be changed?

Hi Yang
I'm going to need to test Bengali on a build that includes it, so not just by making a gaia multilocale. 
For the keyboard layout, we need both bn-Avro and bn-Probhat, from what I gather from Bug 842592.

  1,How to identify the gecko language is ok?In gaia,we can see the string will change if I change the language setting into Bengali.But Where could I check for gecko language?

  1,In Step 1, http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g18/file/default/b2g/locales/all-locales,there are only 3 languages in Gecko language file.Where could I find the file that include more languages?
  2, mozilla-central/ mozilla-aurora/mozilla-beta or mozilla-b2g18 or mozilla-b2g26_v1_2, which one should I choose for Tarako?
  Do you have any other documents for Gecko language?Thank you very much!

For Tarako, we need mozilla-b2g28_v1_3 I believe, but don't quote me on that, what you're looking for might be something else.
I'm sorry I honestly don't know how else to help you more than what I put in comment 0 of this bug.

Gecko l10n isn't supported for most languages, we don't do that for any language but Polish, Spanish and Portuguese. We only localize the gaia bits. That includes shipping products in Germany, Italy, and other Eastern European languages.

Could you please ensure that happens as part of the build process, by setting up the appropriate repos & branches.

Similarly, if there are extra locales that need including then these are the config files:
 Gaia:  https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/v1.3t/locales/languages_dev.json
 Gecko: http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g28_v1_3t/file/default/b2g/locales/all-locales
It looks to me like Bengali is already included.

The community wanted to have both locale, I hope that's possible.

The Bengali has already added on v1.3t,but now we are trying to add more languages besides Bengali.So James had removed all the language except English temporally.So I think maybe you should wait for some time.

hi,Axel.I'm now working on multilocales.And there are 24 kinds of languages(
ca hr cs nl en_US de el hu it pl pt_BR ro ru sr_Cyrl sk es tr bn_BD bg fr mk sr_Latn zh_CN zh_TW)
I'd like to know which language should I add in Gecko?Thank you!

es, pt-BR, and pl are all the languages that have some gecko content. I'm having a hard time finding appropriate content, though. bug 967282 seems to be about that.

Verified that Bengali is a selectable language and that there are 2 selectable Bengali keyboards on 1.3T.
