Bug 981909, there's an open needinfo for me. At first I tried clearing the needinfo, result on top of the page.

> No emails were sent.
But the flag was still there. Tried to comment and clear the needinfo, comment is added, flag doesn't move.
Not sure if that's a bugzilla bug (never had similar problems) or some database problem.
exactly how are you trying to clear the flag?

In every single possible way? Note that I can clear the flag on all other bugs, including this one (we'll see in a minute).
I tried just checking the flag below the comment area and save changes, then comment + same process, then clearing the flag area, nothing works.

Solved by :glob on IRC, problem is not in Bugzilla but clearly in my inability to read English (I was removing the check to clear the needinfo...). Goes hiding into a dark corner.
