Using Firefox 32.0.2

the active ssl certificate on the mozillademos.org domain is mdn.mozilllademos.org. additionally, there is no active vhost configuration in apache for the root domain. is this request part of a new project kickoff?

Actually, the certiicate is for : CN=developer.mozilla.org

Actually, ignore my last comment, cturra was correct.

Nope. I noticed it because I was rewiewing old bugs with links to this Web site. And it was failing.

The original bug 678536 had this URL:
https://mozillademos.org/demos/shadows/demo.html

Someone pointed out in the comments that the demo was accessible at:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/demos/detail/the-letter-heads

So I'm not sure if mozillademos.org was declared end of service. 

Suggestion:

   So either the certificate is invalid and has to be fixed.
OR the site is EOL and then the URL should send 410 Gone which an explanation why it's gone.

Certificate for developer.mozilla.org re-issued with a SAN for:
 - mozillademos.org 
 - mdn.mozillademos.org
